Yes We've Got Talent!

We went to the ward talent show last night. It was a blast. Celene Gunther sang and then we had a credit card kazoo, balancing chair act, juggling, drums and guitar, Chazz playing Vivaldi on the violin, only one piano solo believe it or not, and a ventriloquist. It was actually a lot of fun. Trent read a new poem that he'd written and everyone loved it. The bishop's son wanted to juggle torches but his dad of course said no. There were displays of talent that varied from paintings to sculptures to marathon running awards. I was surprised to win first place in the dessert baking contest. I baked the apple torte you see above. I received a blue ribbon and everything. Proud are we.
