Alyson and Jorgen are 4! We celebrated each birthday to the fullest. We went to the Oquirrh temple open house before Alyson's birthday and saw Margaret and Phil there. It was beautiful and so peaceful. Next, we had a party at the park with balloon making by Kirk, Ben and Luci. My atttempts were hampered by the inability to blow up the balloons even with a pump. Then we had lots of cupcakes to decorate and eat. Brock was so cute with blue frosting all over his face. Alyson was dainty and clean. All went well except for her mom bonking her in the face when trying to help her pull off a very stubborn ribbon.
Jorgen's birthday came 10 days later. It rained all day so the pool party was cancelled. Instead we had a treasure hunt and played games inside. Luci made his cake in the shape of a race track. It was funny though that Jorgen would not let us put any of his Cars on it, not even Lightening McQueen. This time Brock had green frosting smeared all over his face. What fun!
