Next Year New Address

Next year Santa will find us at a new address. Trent and I finally did it. We bought Trent's grandparents' house on Cherry Hill in Orem. It has a beautiful back yard with grape vines and fruit trees. Trent's Uncle Bob made an arbor and swingset that we love. The house was built well but built in the 70's. Now we are busy remodeling. For now we are focusing on upstairs though we did some demo downstairs while everything was torn up. We carefully removed the marble tiles from the front entryway to use somewhere else. Then Trent tore out the chicken wire, quickset and tarpaper layer with about a thousand nails. We also removed the wood flooring to save for later projects. The kitchen floor had to be jack hammered out. The old brick fire pad in the basement is gone. We spent a good week alone on all the wallpaper. We're putting in new flooring, remodeling the fireplace, adding lights and new paint. Many more projects will be coming later. Jared wanted to see some pictures of the remodel so far.
