We're making progress, I think. Our neighbor says our remodel is following the rule of 2. It's taking twice as long, twice as frustrating and twice as expensive as first thought. We would also add that we have done more than twice as many projects as we first planned. We weren't planning on doing anything to the kitchen until later but Trent decided to spruce it up a bit. He put some detail on the doors, moved the cabinets up a little bit and over so we could switch the refrigerator and stove for a more efficient use of space. Then we painted it white to match the trim in the rest of the house.
The master bedroom looks great with the new paint and crown molding. Our baby's room is beautiful with the wainscotting painted white and the walls a creamy color. My Grandpa Jones used to say if you are praying for rain you should carry an umbrella. We are praying for a baby and acting in faith.
There's still so much to do but it's finally coming together. It's so nice to be done with dry wall dust.
